Timb2's NFL MOCK DRAFT 3-14-25 with Reasons / Videos

I just don't see him as a second-round value in this RB-deep draft. Maybe his 40 time will elevate him, but I think he's a third-rounder at best.
That's not the point.

If you pay attention to @timb2 mock in this thread, all of the very good players are being picked up right away in the first 2 rounds, some even though they have previously been mocked of going in the 3rd, 4th and 5th rounds.

I agree with this mock. Every team is going to reach big time right away for their favorite players, so the Cowboys had best get their RB early before all the good ones are gone.

Better than if you can't cover against the pass and are toast every game.
This team is toast next year regardless, but I'd rather watch a team that's got something to offer in the trenches. All they have now are powder puffs. But to each his own.

I think with the depth at RB in this draft, all of the good ones won't be gone before the third. I don't know where teams value Tuten, but it isn't like every team is going to draft an RB in the first two rounds. I'm not reaching for a third-round value just because I want a running back.

I would. Tuten is that good. Definitely round 2 talent. I don't care what others think.

That's fair. I'm not a big college football person, so I go by rankings by so-called experts and what I see on highlight clips (which obviously show players at their best). I haven't seen anyone who ranks him as a Round 2 talent.

Don’t like the Will Howard pick (you have him listed 2x - to NYG before having Boys pick him).
I like Hairston, but #12 seems high for him. See him in the mid-late 20s, so would not mind a trade down for him.
Thanks for the work. It gives us something to talk about.
