I will try to finish the whole draft even though Cowboys picks are all in. Give us a good idea who we can get as UDFAs.

Also please grade my draft. I didn't use simulator, just my own judgement on the players my own evaluations.

Why these players for the Cowboys

1- Zion Johnson- He is a immediate starter at the left guard position and fix this problem. He also could play any o- line position without losing a beat. I see him as a All- Pro. Smart, technically sound in run blocking or pass blocking. He is light on his feet. Strong at the point of attack.

2- Drake Jackson- He is a good athlete who with paired with Micah Parsons could give teams fits of who is the LB or DE? Big enough to hold up vs the run and fast enough for pass coverage. Can start at LB and eventually after the vets free agents signers at DE be the starter there if needed. Could see a couple of Pro Bowls in his future

3- Jelani Woods- He is a physical freak. A load right now at 270 and probably carry another 15 lbs and still be a impact player. Best of 2 worlds. Size of a O- Lineman for blocking and skills of a WR. RED Zone Threat. Another PRO BOWL future player.

4th- Nicholas Petit- Frere- Before running into Aiden Hutchinson,Petit- Frere was considered a 1st round pick. So the 1st overall pick beat you? Truthfully in the 4th round still, that's a steal!!! He has the size, enough ability to become the future LT. Give him a year or two to still grown into his body. Yes he is still growing as a junior. Has a muscular physique. FUTURE STARTER at LT or RT. Proper coaching just like on Terrence Steele and your OTs are set for the next decade.

5A- Joey Blount- Going into the 5th round most of a deep safety draft class is starting to get picked over. Joey Blount has been overlooked because he is on Virginia, not the flashy colleges like Bama,LSU,USC,Ohio State...But Blount is very effective and smart. Knows how to be in the play. Had 90 + tackles before in a season. He did the one thing positive that was my only concern. He ran a 4.38 forty at his Pro Day.. Blount can be the understudy at FS and eventual starter. Play special teams and become a emergency CB if needed for now.

5B- James Cook- Deep RB class and RBs are not valued as they once were. They tend to go lower in the draft. Ezekiel Elliott is slowing down and I expect Tony Pollard to pass Elliott this season as the mainstay starter. The one problem is Tony Pollard is a Free Agent after next season. I want Pollard back, but cover our bets that some other team doesn't get us in a crazy bidding war for his services. James Cook is a Pollard clone but with a little more physicality at the point of contact. Think of having both Pollard & Cook lined up in the backfield would be nice . Teams couldn't just blitz on a jail break after us on passing downs. A screen would kill them with these 2 speedsters.

5C- Savon Scarver- so what are the Cowboys missing? A legit threat at returner and Scarver is a weapon. Has atleast 6 kickoffs for touchdowns maybe even more. Pro Bowl player for Special Teams. Try him also as a punt returner and later chance as a slot WR. Definitely need CeeDee Lamb off of punt returns.

5D- Brock Hoffman- A mean nasty o- linemen who is agile also. Can play Guard, but looking to replace the robotic Tyler Biadiaz at Center with a more aggressive player. Hoffman is under the radar on a crowded draft class from last year's Covid.

6- Josh Pascal- A solid LDE candidate. Good vs the run & the pass. He is not the flashy Edge rusher that looks like a NBA power forward but he can be the type to start in this league for a decade. Gives Chauncy Golston competition for the starting LDE job after Demarcus Lawrence leaves. Think Jim Jeffcoat here.
