Hey fans! First some background. Last night I came across some news articles that I had printed, but for some reason never got around to reading. They were from last years training camp. One of the camp notes talked about the first fight of camp (Ratliff v Colombo.) There was other interesting news, as well. I really enjoyed reading them and contrasting the reports, with what actually happened last season.
Anyway, it got me to thinking about this idea. Why don’t we here at the Zone start a time capsule thread? We can submit our thoughts, and predictions. Like whom Zone Members think the roster would be, first cuts, fights, heroes, record, polls, etc. You know maybe, keep it open for about a week or two, and then close it. Then open it at end of season, (for the ‘Boys, I am hoping Super Bowl) and look back and reminisce. (Maybe the Mod’s or Admin can assist?)
Here is mine: I think the first fight will be between Newman v Crayton. I think Buehler will do just fine on PAT’s and FG’s. I predict at worst a 12-4 record for the ‘Boys, home field for playoffs, and the super bowl WIN. :lombardi:
There are so many other things I can write, but I don’t want to say it all. I want to see what you all have to say. I hope this will turn out to be a fun thread. I hope we can keep it civil. And if other team’s fans contribute, this is NOT a bashing thread.
I look forward to opening this thread next summer when there is nothing going on and reminiscing.
