Time For a New Identity

I know we just paid Zeke and have one of if not the most expensive OL in the NFL but our team clearly goes as Dak goes.

Using the pass to set up the run may be our best chance down the stretch. Zeke clearly is not the same which may be a product of our OL not being the same in run blocking.

This season we are not a run first team that can depend on the defense for crucial stops. Change is needed.

This is all great but a little late. Zeke is already paid, the "Pay Zeke" folks are nowhere around and even if they were, it doesn't mean they would or could fix the problem.

New coach brings a different approach. I personally think we are at a cross roads with Zeke as the best player on the team. Reminds me of when Eddie George carried the Oilers/Titans when he had Steve McNair as his QB. By the time Steve caught on to the NFL level game Eddie was entering the end of his prime. Seems to be happening to the Cowboys now. The sooner we make a change whether it be a coaching change or an approach change the sooner we will win a SB. I personally think JG is a great coach but I think it is time for an identity change that he may not be capable of with our current team.

The only “hope” Garrett has brought to that team and this fanbase is false hope. If you truly believed at any point in time during his tenure that he was going to lead his team to the Super Bowl, you were a victim of this. I can say I was a victim too.

I hear coaches and players even WRs say we are a running team and we have the best RB in the NFL as the reason why. A new coach or even a new philosphy could change it. I personally think RB by committee like the Saints do may be in the best interest of the team.
