Time for the old guard to have a intervention w/ Jones!!

I would think our stars of the past, Staubach, Randy White, Aikman, Irvin, Emmitt....someone please step up and reach out to Jerry Jones , its time he hears it from somone who may carry weight with him....Get a GM, revamp staff etc.... Heck I would love Jimmy Johnson to bite the bullet and reach out....a once proud franchise now a joke in the league???? I would hope Jones see the light himself, but that doesnt look like its going to happen....

Been calling for this for years. So far, it hasn't happened. Troy came close to calling Jerry out for meddling in the coaching yesterday, but then quickly tried to walk it back.....

Troy didn't pull many punches in denouncing Garrett's game management yesterday, but he needs to call out the real fount of the misery.

I get they are friends possibly with Garrett, I also would hope (foolishly maybe) they have respect for the Star.....Talk to Garret then, something....I am sure no of them like the status of the Cowboys now..... maybe I am wrong because it makes them look better...its just how I acted when I was in that spot...a program i left sunk to the bottom, I came back (coaching) with others, got the program winning again, left for family, saw it sink again...bothers the heck out of me that I want to do something again!!!

The simple fact of the matter is the man (JJ) is a billionaire with a big B. No amount of "intervention" will change his mind. As a fan I have to come to grips with this fact and accept that the team will more than likely continue to follow the same path. Time is something no one has control over, so at least I have that in my favor The only fact that will have a hand in Jerry's decision making is time. Unless he is actually a robot controlled by little aliens, then time will catch up to him [see Al Davis] and we get to see what Stephen may or may not bring to the table. I am not entirely hopeful given he is after all his son.

You are right. He was all over the play calling and didn't hold anything back. Friends or not this game was lost due to a total lack of understanding/implementation of basic football fundamentals by our leadership. Enough is enough.

Speaking out and going to meet with Jerruh about how he should run his team are totally different things.
