Haven't seen any reported time-line for his return. Does anyone have any intel?

It's too early to tell. Right now, everyone's focusing on him getting well which is the most important thing.

The good news is it sounds like it was detected early and he has an endless amount of resources available to him to fight his condition.

Wow..... that is depressing, I hope he can recover soon. Would be a tragic potential end to what was shaping up to be a HOF career.

Lots of unknown's right now, but if I had to place a bet, I would bet that he doesn't play in 2018.

Most likely, that's right.

They'll put him on IR, then perhaps he's one of the players they can activate sometime after week 8. However, my guess is he'll be back for next season.

Operate as though you don't have him at all this season. If he returns, whether it's in a month or 3 months, it's a bonus.
