Its time to get Mo Claiborne back and play press man on the outside and send 6 or 7 guys every time. If we get beat for a big play we get beat for a big play but its obvious--(Saints, Bears, Broncos, Chargers, etc) the cover 2 and pressure with front 4 is not working.

yup, just look at what chicago did.. they couldnt get pressure with 4 so they started blitzing

I don't even care if it is a zone blitz. Just send the house every time. Yes we will give up some plays but nothing can literally be worse than a team scoring on EVERY possession they have in a football game.

That said, you can still scheme a blitz to account for a RB creeping out. I'd rather get burned for trying to get to the QB than expecting 7 in coverage to save you with zero pass rush.

Forte would act like he was staying into block then release and get 10-15 yards each time. Unbelievable we couldn't account for him

True. Because we do t have DT's that can push the line. We need to hit the "A" gap with blitzes to at least force the QB to move.

Yep. I am with the OP, I'd rather do anything than stick with what we're doing... but our blitzes never get there.

I agree....but the problem is...the blitz does not get there. At some point people need to accept we are not putting NFL caliber players on the field. They are players that would be fodder for game 5 of the pre-season. But asking them to be ready to be ready to make plays for our playoff push seems to be overwhelming for a lot of these street free agents.
