Everyone is saying we can't win next Sunday. They're saying we can't win a winner takes division game on the road. The defense simply needs to step up and I think they can because they did it earlier in the season. The first half of the season aside from the Philly game they played solid. If we can win this week we'll conquer our demons and it'll give us aton of confidence and who knows maybe it leads to a long playoff run. If we can get the right matchup (Detroit or Atlanta and San Fran) we may find ourselves in the NFC Title Game. If we get there maybe Rodgers or Brees has an off game and Romo outplays them and Dallas finds themselves in Indy on February 5.

When you say 'everyone', are you referring to the voices in your head? Because I think there are plenty of people who think we've got a very good chance to win next Sunday.

Now, beyond that, I don't know. We could beat Atlanta. And probably Detroit. We'd stand a shot against SF, but only because Alex Smith can't throw deep on the run to save his life. But I don't see this team making much of a playoff run even if we do qualify this week. I'd be happy with the division crown and an early playoff win, honestly.
