the main threat from the Skins is not RG3 but their RBs,we cant stop the run and we cant stop them catching the ball all day, this has to be fixed or it wont matter what Romo does again.

There is no doubt in my mind that RGIII and the Skins play their best game of the year. Shanahan will have had two weeks to prepare and Dallas still cannot stop the run. And I believe Dallas has a letdown game after this emotional loss. Sadly, I think this is the turning point of the season (for the bad). I hope that I am wrong.

Commanders 28, Cowboys 17.

The only way the Skins hold us to 17 points is if we turn the ball over. That defense is probably worse than both us and the Broncos. They can't stop anyone and I don't think they are playing near as well on offense either.

This is an infinitely winnable game. In fact, the Cowboys should win it by multiple scores. However, I have this terrible premonition we're going to be in the game thread next Sunday night wondering why it's halfway through the third quarter and we only have 10 points.

Yep win the next two and these last two mean nothing.

4-3 with 4 NFC wins and 3 in the east will set us up nicely for November.

How you feeling Theebs? How was the energy today in the stadium?

It's cowboys vs Commanders. Throw out both teams records. They mean nothing. We're gonna get there best effort on prime time TV. I believe it'll be close until we pull away in the 4th after we pick off RG3 twice!!

Watch. This is Cowboys vs. Commanders. Rivalry game and their defense will play the game of the year. They always do against us. Especially with 2 weeks to prepare. Again, I hope I am wrong.

We have to forget todays game and move on. I actually feel better about my cowboys than I did last week. If Washington beats us next Sunday night, they could be sitting in first place in the division. I don't wanna say "must win", but we need to make a statement next Sunday night. What do we need to do to beat the skins?

I hope Cowboys can put this behind them. Games like that can linger in a players mind. This is a very big game coming up with Washington and the next game vs Philly, to sweep the 1st part of the NFC East schedule would put the Cowboys in the driver seat.

I think Commander hope Romo tries to throw the ball alot because he does eventually make a critical mistake. But I think they are also worried if Dallas goes power running early and has success with it. If Dallas loses to Commander and Eagles in next two games you can start the countdown for Garrett's firing.

As a Commanders fan I can tell you, all you need to do is give our AWFuL secondary a very large dose Dez. The threat of RG3 running the read option no longer scares anyone. As for our running game, you can bring in your safeties in run support if your really worried about Alfred Morris but I really don't think that will be necessary as our run game has been very stagnant. You have to watch the Commanders intermediate passing game, namely Garçon and Hankerson, we haven't had very much success in the deep ball category but if the intermediate to short passing game gets going, that's gonna give some life to the running game. If Helu comes in...or starts, it's actually tougher as he is used more as a pass catcher rather than coming out of the backfield carrying the ball. Flush RG3 out to his right and he'll run and throw an errant pass off of his back foot every time now.

Just my 2 cents.
PS...we've all got to do better for the NFC East, were the laughing stock of the league....unacceptable!

You beat the Commanders by protecting Romo and Throwing the ball. RG3 is one dimesional now so I think the defense will get a break.

I wouldn't say RG3 is 1 dimensional, he's only average now...but even an average QB can run enough to keep your LB's honest

he's looked very gimpy out there to me but I haven't watched every snap. I feel like he has great arm but it has been protected.. I think he'll grow into a really good QB but right now, he's vick lite.
