Maybe getting a TE that can actually run up the seams and make defenses pay vertically instead of the security blanket offense with Witten and Beasley underneath (and defenses knowing exactly where they'll be).

This is utter b/s. #4 IS the problem with the Cowboys. Period, end of sentence.

With Dez gone and Witten retiring the offense has become more Dak unfriendly. Dez and Witten were one and two in receiving TDs last season for the Cowboys with 11 TDs. They combined for half the TD passes Dak threw last season.

I think Dak friendly is making sure he is looking for the open man and not trying to force the ball. His rookie season he had few ints, this past season so many times he was forcing balls to Dez. Go through your reads hit the open man.
