Times goes fast

Any of yall ever look back on your life and trip on how fast time goes? June 4th marked 7 years since I graduated high school, I look back sometimes and wonder where the time went. I know im not old, but it seems like its going faster every year, hell we are already halfway in this year, these 6 months have flown by. Any of you older posters think of how fast it all went?

It went by very quickly. After working for a few years, I went back to school to get my MBA and graduated at 26. I took a job in Dallas, and the next thing I knew, I was 35. The defining moment happened to me one day when I woke up and thought, "WTH just happened? Where did all those years go?" It was one of the reasons I Ieft my corporate job early. As I've gotten older, I've tried to live each day as consciously as possible, trying to remain aware and present in my life, rather than just going through the motions. I'm not always successful at it, but I'm much better than I used to be.

Well don't blink cause before you know you'll look up and it'll be 20 years since you graduated high school.

Not in a structured or formal way.

I've enjoyed wildlife and landscape photography for many years. My forays into the desert or the mountains encouraged heightened awareness on my part as a means to identify and create interesting photographs. The solitary nature of my pursuits were opportunities for introspection. After returning to my home and normal routine, I'd ruminate on the experience. Eventually, I began to discern a discrepancy that existed between the two "me's" (if you will). It became clear to me that I preferred one state of mind over the other and I needed to support the conditions that nurtured it. When I had the means and the opportunity presented itself, I took it. I retired and got out.

Also, it seems like life grabs the overdrive gear once you get that letter from the government telling you your eligible for social security benefits when you reach retirement age,,,, just a casual observation.

Life goes by so fast. I look back on those years and it feels like a different person. My mind might still feel like a kid but my body tells me different. lol

When I got married my Aunt said "don't blink, before you know it you'll be celebrating 25 years", she was right, 25 years in August, I am 51 and can not believe how time flew...

The most important thing I've learned is you get no do overs, you can not go back in time...enjoy life, find an occupation you enjoy.

Congratulations on 25 years, Lukin! That's wonderful, brother :)

Time is our enemy Time is our friend.Think of it like a bank account with no chance of adding to it.maximize your opportunity and spend it wisely.
Always remember age is just an attitude...even if you have just one afternoon left you still can make an impact. It is about quality not quantity and it is about the trying not the result.
