Am I the only one that does not like when championship games, and the SB are played.

To me, the SB should start at 3:00pm.

To me, the championship games should be played at 1:00pm and 4:00pm.

I know it is all about making money, but really, I do not want to be looking at a football game when it is midnight.

Money rules the world.

Does anyone honestly think that fewer people would watch if the SB was on at 3:00pm -- I think MORE people would watch. And I think there would be better play, the players are not just sitting around all day -- and getting tired of listening to all the questions.

Do we as fans have ANYTHING to say about it??? Or maybe this is just my opinion.

The Super Bowl is a primetime event. Why would they need to kickoff at 3PM? Why would any event like that kickoff at 3PM? I do agree with you on the conference championship games. Just play it regularly at 1PM and 4PM ET.

+1

But I don't think it's unfathomable that a Super Bowl will kick off at 9 PM EST one day.

If you would do a little research you would find that yes primetime games do get a lot more viewers.

That is kinda his point.

It they really wanted to blow out the ratings however they would play on Saturday night.

It does ... here in California. I love West Coast football times.

The games come on @ 2 & 5:30 here. They will be over before the nightly news comes on at 10.

I guess I don't have a problem with the start for either game because it takes up the entire day. The pregame is from 1pm to 3pm and then when the 6pm game is over around 9pm the postgame will go into 11pm. If it was 1pm and 4:pm then I would have nothing to watch after 8pm

Saturday night? That would kill ratings.

Obviously without the college competition.

But yes, Saturday night. The ratings would explode.

No, Friday and Saturday nights are the worst nights for TV, it would kill ratings. People want to go out, not stay in.

Check the ratings of the Saturday night NFL games. Nothing kills rating for the NFL besides games on NFL network.
