According to a news article authored by Vito Stellino in the Jacksonville Florida Times Union today. Marcus Stroud's streak of playing in 80 consecutive regular season games is about to come to an end. He is very unlikely to play this Sunday and he is on crutches and outfitted with a boot on his lower right leg according to the writer.
Rob Meir is a solid backup for Stroud. Also middle linebacker Mike Peterson is trying to overcome a sprained medial collateral ligament that occurred this past Wednesday while practicing.
Jack del Rio has both key defensive players listed as questionable? Talk about a coy optimist.
The Jags do have solid backups but they aren't of Stroud's and Peterson's calibre. I live in Jacksonville, and I have some Jaguar fan neighbors that are quite agitated over this. I think they are exempting me from the neighborhood crime watch this weekend. Oh the torments you have to endure if you are a diehard Cowboys fan.
