I absolutely cringe as I type this but you all know this Tebow situation is right up Jerry's alley. If Jerry can find the wiggle room to bring Tebow aboard, don't be surprised to see the splash made. While Jerry has improved in the area of allowing the football people to dwell in player management decisioning, he is most likely chomping at the bit and may not be able to help himself. Dare I mention any historical question marks that he just couldn't help himself with?

Tank Johnson
Pacman Jones
Terrell Owens

I'm ready sure I am leaving some names out that some of you will bring back to the surface.

My main point here is that the final 53 may not be so final right now. Tebow's Cowboys jersey sales alone will pay his salary. I hope I don't end up looking like confucious on this one but the thought has been dominating my head since waking up this morning.

T.O. was a good decision at the time..

Pacman was a questionable gamble at best.

Everyone here knows my well documented man love affair with TO. He still fit that category though. Questionable history for some reason or another but someone that caused Jerry to smack his gums uncontrollably.

Both points well taken. Jerry has used smoke screens in the past. That just comes with the territory of decisioning. That said, I may be overreacting here but thought I would share the source of my high blood pressure this morning. ;)

Those moves you speak of happened more than 5 years ago.

Turn Tebow into a special teams ace :p He'd be a great holder for fake punts. Maybe we can make him into a kick returner or slot receiver.

Those guys had trouble with the law and T.O. was someone who divided the lockeroom, Tebow doesn't cause no bad attention but people will talk their smack

Didn't take long for a Tebow to Cowboys thread. But it's not going to happen. Jerry's stated as much.

Well the thing about those guys like Tank Johnson, TO and Pac-Man is that they all can play football. Tebow can't.

Don't fool yourself into thinking Tebow can't play at the NFL level. If someone was to give him a chance at TE or, better yet, H-back they might definitely be onto something. Will that be Jerry? All indications say no but stranger things have happened at VR.

As big of a Tebow fan as I am and I really hope someone gives him a chance even I don't want him here. He attracts too much attention and coming to Dallas will only put a bigger spotlight on him, the best thing for him is to develop his game behind the scenes.

He's not a h-back or TE though. He's a quarterback. And he's a terrible one.

I question whether or not there is actually any space for him to improve as a QB. His QB games is VERY helter skelter.

He has this knack for getting more accurate with his passes in the 4th Quarter he just does, if it can happen for him then he needs to translate that to his practices and earlier in the game. He's a lot better throwing off of play action when he's moving around, it's his pocket passing that's a disastrous if he can polish that up to just below average his other skill sets as a football player will compensate for his short coming. I think in the right system in the right situation he can make a team competitive consistently.
