In 2004 in Sydney he captured 6 Gold medals and 2 Bronze medals.

In Beijing he adds 8 Gold medals. Two of the races were among the most exciting I have ever seen in the Olympics.

14 Gold medals and 2 Bronze medals for a total of 16 Olympic medals.

He only 23 years old. How many can he add at London in 2012? It boggles the mind.

Young man, I tip my hat to you. I hope you inspire a generation of USA swimmers who can represent this country as you have.

Yep, I agree.

Although, Phelps has said that he will not be doing as many events in the 2012 Olympics as he did in this Olympics.

What Phelps has done is truly remarkable. He is one of the all time great Olympians if not the greatest.
