Biggest issue with the asian knock offs is some can come smelling like they took a chemical bath. For kids and how fast they grow out of stuff asian knockoffs may be the way to go.

1. Don't ever buy an Asian knock-off. Ever.

Jerseys are expensive, so unless you can find an occasional sale, $75 for a youth jersey is what you're going to pay.

Also, don't get the cheap Walmart imitation unless you don't t mind looking like trailer trash.

Sometimes used ones show up in thrift shops. Of course it's always hit or miss, but it's possible to find bargains. I got an authentic NFL large navy blue Romo jersey for $4 at a thrift store in Nampa, Idaho. It was sheer luck, of course, but it's always worth a look. I also saw a Brett Farve Packer jersey.

Whats the issue with "Asian" Knockoffs I have numerous that look identical to "Official" Jerseys but do not have $200+ price tags. Now I have issue with people going in uninformed and assuming because a site says "NFL Official" they assume that is what they are getting. Just like when I buy things at harbor freight I have certain level of expectation on things I buy there. Power tools i stay away from hand tools I can handle, nothing wrong with Asian knock offs as long as people understand that for under $50 for an adult jersey you MAY get somethings that are a little hinkey.
