Tired of ESPN bias.

I guess you just happened to miss or ignore all of the good things that were being said on Sunday nights sportscenter after the game or on Monday mornings sportscenter?

The numerous articles about how good the boys look and how many think they are the best team in the NFC and if not the best in the top 2-3?

Really people complain about ESPN too much. It is ESPN not the Dallas Cowboys Sports network.

Personally, and I know this may sound sacrilege, but the 'boys actually get quite a bit of love from all the ESPN channels. I don't necessarily watch ESPN much, but I do watch ESPNEWS. And there's always somebody on there giving them props.

There's a bit of a mix on NFL Network, but success makes it hard for them to deny the talent.

espn.com Scouts Inc Matt Williamson jocks the 'boys so hard, I feel like I'm reading a beat writer's chat with all the love he gives them.

You'll always have those who don't like them, but relatively speaking, they get quite a bit of coverage on all the major sports networks and websites.

I'd rather the media ignore the Cowboys. I'd rather be the underdog. I'd rather the team have something to prove than a reputation to defend.

Golic has had Dallas in the SB since the preseason.

Myself. You want respect then you go out and earn it. In the 90's no one denied the greatness of the Cowboys and if the Cowboys want that again then they need to go earn it. ESPN is not a Cowboy owned company nor are they anti Cowboys my goodness they love to hire former Cowboys I would doubt they would do so if they hated them so much

But we've won THREE whole games!!!!!

Hello??...Who else are they going to talk about on Monday morning except the game that happened on Sunday night?! You must live around Dallas, because I haven't read or seen any articles about how they are one of the top 2-3 teams in the NFL. In fact, on NFL Live a few days ago, they rated the top 3-4 teams in the league, and the Cowboys were not mentioned.

I don't really care. Dallas is probably only the 4th-5th best team in the league because of their defense, anyway. My problem is that I don't live in Texas, and ESPN is the only national platform I can turn to for Cowboys info & props. When your team is tying records and scoring points like few have in the history of the NFL, you would like to see that acknowledged so you can watch it.

I don't care what anyone says, it just feels better when those in the national platform talk about how awesome your team is. All I get around here is Browns news, and it is seldom positive.

I only watch BSPN for highlights, nothing more. I gave up on them many moons ago. I can't stand how they drag stories into the ground too, such as Mike Vick, Coach Gundy, etc.

It seems all of their "analysts" have a reason to not like the Cowboys, except Chris Mortensen.

Yes, but the Cowboys should be the focus of EVERY story. After all, we have won 3 games.

ESPN is a lot less biased against us than they used to be, in large part because of so many former Cowboys now a part of their network: Keyshawn, Woodson, Emmitt, Parcells, and up until recently Irvin.

If you look at who made up most of the analysts in the past it was Berman (Bills/49ERs/Favre fan), Jaworski (former Eagle), Eric Allen (former Eagle), Joe Theesman (former Commander), Tom Jackson (former Bronco), etc... Almost all of the employees were fans or former players of teams we beat up for years so it was no wonder they hated us. Now that we have a number of former Cowboys on board we are getting a bit more love.

It also helps that we are becoming a better team and playing well.

I never worry about what the mediots say about us. They get paid to be entertaining. Of course I still haven't figured out what they pay Skip Brainless for but that is their problem.

I love it too!

I love it when Berman picks against the Cowboys every week.

Week one ... the GEEEEEEEEE Men !!
Week two ... is it hot in Miami?, I'll take the Dolphins
Week three ... the Bears, afterall, Romo hasn't seen anything like the Bears defense

:laugh2:

He is such an enjoyable goof :D

you have the internet. you've got plenty of resources around you if you want to tune into something specific. in fact, you have A LOT MORE than you did 10 years ago.

quit waiting for it to come to you and you go get it.

I have not watched ESPN for anything other then the draft coverage for almost a year now. I find I do not miss it at all.

I live in the state next to yours...West Virginia so there goes that theory.

If you read the daily zone, read len pasquarelli (sp?) heard madden, listened to collinsworth, read the dallas beat writers, listened to stinky (schelerth) and a host of others they are calling dallas a contender.

Oh and for your browns news. Every week I get the Browns, Bengals and Steelers games as where I live I also get the Columbus station.

Once again ESPN is not the Dallas Cowboys Network. However if you think about it they do have plenty of form cowboys. They Had irvin, they have smith, woodson does some things on there on occasion, Keyshawn, Parcells. They have ed werder doing cowboy reports on occasion and they also have recently hired a reporter from Dallas...name escapes me at this time.

The problem is people want to hear them say nothing but good stuff all the time about the cowboys...once again they are not the dallas cowboys sports network.

And if that is still not enough for you, if it bothers you so much. Then quit watching ESPN.

Read the dallas sports sites and get on the internet and listen to the dallas area radio stations like the dallas ESPN branch or the ticket.

We all know how well this team is playing right now. Who cares what others think? They'll come to terms with it, eventually.

That's always been my opinion on the matter...Who cares about the rankings, the pundits, the 'experts' or anyone else...It all gets sorted on the field

I could actually hear him as I read that.

Honestly the only thing I'm really surprised about is how some of the so called experts be sure to note we have not really played anyone and make very little reference about our back to back road wins.

Winning in the NFL is difficult and back to back road wins against notable defenses should not go unnoticed.

Pittsburgh has not really played anyone either, yet they sing their praises. Funny how Phillips is winning with BP's team and Tomlin is winning with a rejuvenated team due to his fresh perspective.

it is the third game of the season. Why are we annointing all these players to the Probowl already again?

Sure we are playing great, but the season is young and we still have an opurtunity to suck the rest of the year... Look at last season. I was thinking we would have gotten homefield advantage the way we were playing on that winning streak. We eeked into the playoffs. I don't get why some people here have such slective memories.

We won't be great until we beat the pats in week 5. We beat two terrible teams and one half of a great team in the Chicago bears defense. That offense is putrid. Lets not get too heady now.

Screw ESPN. All of those MA homers can eat the big one for all I care. Hate is a good thing.

The Giants are a good division rival football team.(except for a few head cases)
The Dolphins have a good defense.
The Bears have a great defense.

The fact that we are balanced on offense and defense enough to beat all of those, (two on the road), is a good thing, .. enjoy it.
