Miles Austin has come on strong this year. When given the chance he seems better than Crayfish.

I am so tired of keeping Hurd and Stanback on the roster. They seem brittle, injurywise.

Now, with T.O. and the lethargic RW (Jerra loves him despite all), something has to give.

I say give Austin the No. 3 receiver role. No more talke of potential. Just play. Give Hurd and Stanback their walking papers and/or injury settlements. And if the pouty and self-important RW doesn't work out, I would not lose any sleep knowing Austin could step in as No 2. He deserves the chance.

The only problem is that Sam Hurd and Isaiah Stanback is not even remotely close to what the problems with this team is.

Those two barely played this year, what do t hey have to do with anything? They could be have been cut from the roster, wouldn't have changed a thing.

Which exactly why I wonder why people keep saying we should get rid of him. Who cares their depth players who are young with some upside and potential to progress. People don't get it... Thats all, thats it. omgggggggggggggg gotta get rid of them thats 1st priority.

Neither of these guys had anything to do with the Cowboy's lost season.

I know Hurd practices hard at least. And Stanback was probably the second best QB on the Team this year.....

Your post-game hangovers are showing.

I don't believe the post said anything about these two having anything to do with this dismal season. With Jerra's love of RW and T.O. and Miles on board, we can and should audition others.

Simply put, these two will have to show a lot next camp, otherwise time to look elswhere for young talent.

Isiah stanbach was drafted by jeff ireland.

Jeff Ireland drafted players who fit the model of players bill parcells wanted and the style of play parcells and his staff wanted to play.

THis coaching staff obviously can not do anything with him. Throw in his injuries and he will always be a gameday inactive.

I bet if he were in miami they would have had a way to use him by now, in fact I guarantee he would have some role in miami with that staff.

Its just a situation we are stuck with. ANd it is only going to get worse for the team and the fans.

Sam Hurd didn't see the field this year and didn't see the field enough in previous years.

Agree that Stanback might be a Top 10 receiver if he were in Miami, at least yardage-wise.

I'm saying he'd probably be Top 10. He's bigger, faster, and stronger than any other receiver on Miami's roster, and they still made the playoffs.

Players like Sam Hurd, Miles Austin, and Jay Ratliff represent everything that is good about this team, and that could have continued to be good about this team.

its obvious to me that this organization can not scout, draft/sign/trade, develop a WR, and who is at fault when that happens?

this team missed out on many talented WRs over the last few years, I look for it to continue.

Yeah its the pole vaulter and thats not the only type of pole she likes to vault i bet!

Speaking of WRs... I wonder if Lowber will be back in camp.

I'd tweak this. I say make Austin #2 and keep Crayton #3, and tell Roy 11 that he can have the #2 spot when he runs the right routes and quits giving up on plays if he's not fed the ball every other pass. Sit his sorry butt on the bench and see if THAT doesn't get him moving.

The more I learn about Roy 11, the more ticked I get.

I think getting Roy Williams may stunt Hurd, Miles, and Stanbeck's chances to grow. You can't pay a guy that much to sit. Roy Williams was a bad trade.

I agree about Stanback. It seems like if there is an injury that's possible, he'll find a way for it to happen. I disagree about Sam Hurd though. Yes he was hurt this season but it is the first time for him. Last year I thought he looked exactly how Austin (who I also like alot) has looked this year. I say give him one more season. JMO

Serisouly, we understand she is a pole vaulter but what is her name?

I even consulted the internet and could not find her on any newport track and field site. I found a college, but she wasnt on the team. Stop holding back.

They should release Terrell Owens and start Miles Austin in his place. Austin is ready to take that next step, and he is a team player....

They need to release Stanback -- he is a bust....just another Skyler Green. All promise and potential but no tangible results on the field.

Keep Hurd as backup and draft another young WR in the upcoming draft.
