Tired of whining about Bledsoe and Parcells. Yep Bledsoe isn't a running QB but he has enough mobility to move around in the pocket like he did last week and take the hits while carving KC to pieces. If our OL had been able to give him same amount of protection last week, we would have won, but no our OL is just too bad to do that. In fact last week was probably one of better of our OL performances and that is sad.

Also tired of blaming Parcells for everything including bad weather in NE. Yep he should have ensured we had another OT available just in case, and we shouldn't have signed Riveria, and our OL drafts picks since Parcells came (Singleton, Rogers & Peterman(still out on this one), but after all we still had Lacewell as head of scouting. This year Parcells made certain we overhauled scouting department and we had a great draft; I bet that this year's draft will turn out to provide particularly defensive players who will be cornerstones of great Cowboy defense for next year and the years after that.

And now we gotta put up with bring back Jimmy Johnson postings. No knock on person who posted this and he certainly has right to his opinion, but I would point out we currently have a HC who hasn't coached in a few years but now there suggestion we bring back JJ who hasn't coached for even a longer period & exactly how successful was he in Miami; how many SBs did they win. Pardon me they didn't get to SB, they didn't get to championship game and in fact they stunk when JJ left. Two of his problems were his inability to draft/sign a really good RB and same goes for QB once Marino was out. Also forget we have a cap now which JJ didn't have when arrived in Dallas. So let's deal with realty and give Parcells some time to correct the many mistakes made before him.

Parcells more then any of us knows what has to be done. I think he and Jerry Jones hoped our OL with few changes could be good enough to get the job don. They were wrong but this offseason there will be major changes on offense including upgrading OL, etc., as well as 2-3 more defensive players at LB, FS, and maybe 1 more guy. We've got 7 picks to use in this draft and I can probably sign maybe 1 quality FA and please also let's sign a good PK or at least bring in several pretty good PK for tryouts over period of time. Other teams seem have knack of acquiring PK, so we should too.

Sorry about my spiel and don't want anybody to take it personally but I really get tired of how badly we go off the deepend when we lose but think we will win the SB when we win a game. Thank God none of us are Jerry Jones and in charge of this team. We draft a player today and cut him tomorrow, or fire HC after 1 year or whatever but no doubt in my mind that this board collectively would turn Cowboys into worst team in NFL history.

Look I hope you are right. I hope BP has a grand plan and it all works out, but as of right now DEC 19, 2005 I have serious doubts.

Maybe this offseason BP fixes the OL, finds the QB of the future, finds two WRs and the defense learns how to rush the passer and stop the run more effectively.

:wink2:Also tell me what Bledsoe was supposed to do when he dropped back and set ,the defender was stopping with him.
Not his fault.

I'm not sure Parcells should get a pass. Afterall, Jerry signed the players Bill wanted this off-season and if depth is a problem then that's on Bill

The gameplans are also on Bill as well as the adjustments at half-time. The worst display of coaching this year was punting on 4th-&-1 w/18:00 left in the game and then having Bledsoe running a hurry-up 2:00 drill w/4:00 left in the game. Pathetic.

Yeagh - this is not a better team than the Campo era? Strop it.

Talent accross the board is a huge upgrade.

My only fault of late is game planning on the road of late. For whatever reason we are real flat on the road. I think offensively and defensively we lose aggression and try and keep it close. Players like to attack - not sit back on our heels.

Our Oline is really killing us. Can't run or protect QB. Look what Brunell had to work with - he had all day for the most part - No pressure.

Parcells' problem was in the first season itself. Rather than be aggressive his first offseason, he essentially went with the current roster. He had a chance back then to address the QB and OL situation. And then after his first 10-6 season, he again, sat back and didn't inolve himself in free agency.

I think he did a fine job last offseason but this was essentially after wasting two offseasons.
