Titans at Saints

Is Drew Brees blind?

I don't know about that, but I do know my mom playing QB could have seen Bullock jumping that route on the last interception.

Vince Young threw a whopping six passes in the 2nd half.

Yet the Titans scored 21 points.

Seriously, no one could have predicted this type of downfall by the Saints.

Brees has 1 TD to 7 INT's this season.

I thought they were going to have a dissappoointing year... but yeah, I had no idea it'd start out this bad.

The Saints ate the cheese.

They ate the cheese, drank the Kool Aid and bet the farm.
Last year they came to Dallas and killed our team.
I blame that loss on that fat,old and outdated Duane.
Duane NEVER made adjustments.
The Saints exposed our weaknesses and still Duane didn't change a thing.

Keith Bullock: "We wanted to come out and show that Vince Young isn't the only person on our team."

LOL.

The Saints are the 2004 Cowboys. They were successful the year before and didn't seek a bunch of changes in the off-season. Then they get to the next season and the league has figured out their smoke and mirrors routine.

They were not nearly as good as they showed and it probably set them back a year to becoming a truly good team just like it did us.

And another thing...

Say what you will about Sean Payton, but remember how gimmicky and jacked up his offense was last year? He used a ton of misdirection to even run the most basic of plays. They never did just line up and beat people. It really was a smoke and mirrors routine and the league has figured it out.

The Titans frustrate me......why not run Chris Brown on that 3rd down.....or how about using Vince more as a running threat on short yardage situations

because they didn't need to...no need to run Vince when you can do it with somebody else.

Even since the Chicago game, teams have been rushing ONLY 4 and dropped the remaining 7 in coverage.

Pt being that their O-line is poor, especially their 2 OTs-you can get a rush only with 4 guys, so why blitz? From there, everyone in the secondary is blanketed.

Let alone an onside kick against us when up by 21.

Don't blame any of this on me. And BTW, I'm not fat or old. :D

The 2004 Cowboys did make a bunch of changes in the off season. They just turned out to be the wrong changes. Wiley replaced Ekuban at RDE. Carson for Blade at NT. Hunter/Frazier for Edwards at RCB. All of those positions needed upgrades from the 2003 squad, but unfortunately Dallas found worse players to man the positions.

Not to mention we tried to stick with Q, then had Vinny; lost JJ to injury and were stuck with an old Eddie George, and then we lost Woody and Glenn.

Ditto the Saints this year-they signed a Zone corner(Jason David) DESPITE their schemes being man-man, they signed an over-the-hill, injury prone MLB(Brian Simmons) to try to replace Mark Simoneau, they signed a Zone FS(Keven Ksomething) to try to replace Josh Bullocks(didn't work out), and their top draft pick, Robert Meacham, was a bust.

Having lived there for years-the FO doesn't listen to decent-minded scouts like Jeff Ireland, they listen to mediots like John Clayton and Mel Kiper.
