From the second Vince Young was drafted I didn't give him much credit to succeed in this league. I still do not know if he will or won't, but I saw something last night and I'm not talking about the comeback win. I'm talking about the way he handled his teammates. He showed real leadership. When he receivers weren't doing what they were supposed to do, he let them know. He did it in a respectful way, but he did it with a General's authority. It was the way he did it in college. You wouldn't think that would carry over to the NFL, but the NFL is a different beast. The egos are much larger and NFL players arn't exactly going to just let to do that to them. To see Young do that and the players respond, that shows that he is gaining their respect and they know and understand that he is the leader, the general on the field.
He still needs TONs of work on his mechanics, but I think they are only going to tweak them as a overhaul probably won't be productive. It will hamper him in the end though. He will be like Bernie Kosar except more agile and a far better leader.
