Over the edge of what? A cliff?

A great o-line, Josh Gordon and a defence with some elite players in there. I don't think they're as far away as people think. In saying that it remains to be seen whether they can find a QB and RB this off season that could put them in the mix.

I'd hate to bring them down to our level.

They have had 6 or fewer wins in 10 of the last 11 seasons. They have just hired their 6th head coach during that same time span. Their owner is under federal investigation. They are far below the Cowboys level.

Not if you click on a couple more threads around here.

The Browns are a couple offensive weapons away from turning it around. Johnny Football and a RB would be the right start.

Doesn't sound strange at all, in today's NFL you should cut high priced/high profile RBs and pick up guys in the 4th-6th rounds that can do 80% of that production off the bat. One guy who I would love to see use throw a low pick over to the Saints for is Khiry Robinson of the Saints he is their 5th RB and I am willing to bet he can be virtually what Murray is for us.

Apparently, Parcells called Payton before the playoffs and told him Robinson was the next Curtis Martin, and that he wasn't using him enough. He's not going anywhere.
