Most players and some coaches have the money to avoid convictions. Mostly by pleading to lesser charges.

Ooooofffff. That's very bad for him. Glad nobody was hurt by his stupidity. It never fails to confuse me why people can't just use an Uber or public transit if they're going to drink.

The internet says DWI is usually only used for persons under the age of 21 in Tennessee. Not always, but more often. In Texas it seems to be the opposite with DWI being the one with the harsher punishment.

Holy crap how dumb can you be? If driving after drinking too much isn't bad enough, you're going to call attention to yourself by speeding?

Simple rules for everyone. If you shouldn't be driving for whatever reason, drinking too much, or suspended license, you must not draw attention. If you're doing something you shouldn't be doing with your vehicle, transporting weapons, drugs, or dead bodies, the same applies. Your car cannot have any headlights out. Your plates must be valid. Your sticker up to date, and for god sakes don't speed. This is just common sense. But I'm continually amazed by those not following these simple rules.
