Thanks fellas wasn't sure. I'm not sure but maybe Jerry is thinking of the depth the boys would have at cornerback . T- New, Orlando, MJ, Mike Mickens and maybe Pacman. I don't agree with Jerry's logic but just trying to make sense of this whole Jerry statement. Your thoughts?

Results of the pacman trade ended up being the Titans got (4-126) WR Lavelle Hawkins and the Cowboys got (5-166) DB Michael Hamlin. Word was last year that the Cowboys missed out on QB John David Booty, so that might have been the pick had they kept the fourth round pick.

in the trade deal, the cowboys were giving a 4th round pick by the titans, if for some reason pacman was cut or released or didnt get to play. The commissioner Goodell nixed that deal, he cut the 4th rounder back to a 5th rounder that the Cowboys would get.

So, you have Goodell to thank for that deal, we were suppose to get a 4th, but wound up with a 5th rounder.

I don't think that's how it worked. We gave up a 4th to get him but if he was suspended by the league they had to give us a 5th.
