Titans | V. Young injures hand Wednesday
Wed, 23 Aug 2006 15:56:47 -0700
Jim Wyatt, of the Tennessean, reports Tennessee Titans rookie QB Vince Young (hand) injured his throwing hand when he accidentally hit it on a teammate's helmet during Wednesday afternoon's practice, Aug. 23, at Baptist Sports Park. Titans' head coach Jeff Fisher said X-rays on Young's right hand were negative and the rookie may be able to play Saturday night, Aug. 26, against the Atlanta Falcons. "I think he's going to be all right," Fisher said. "X-rays were negative. He's going to have a sore hand, and we haven't ruled him out for the game." Young was opening and closing his hand and didn't appear to be in significant pain as he left the field.
