I'm still astonished how the guy could hit 60 yarders but couldn't kick it into the endzone.
He cost us so much field position.
No, actually, he didn't.I'm still astonished how the guy could hit 60 yarders but couldn't kick it into the endzone.

Guarantee it was coaching
I'm confused as to why they brought him in. Couldn't they evaluate him in real game situations by watching Cowboys games?
Can't say I follow the Titans. I was wondering how bad must their kicker be to be having tryouts in December.I think the Titans are looking at him for their practice squad. Or they're just doing their due diligence by trying him out for future reference.
Their regular kicker, Ryan Succop, has missed time with a knee this year.
That’s why if any solid kicker hits the market this off season we better jump on themWith Maher being tested by the Titans, it's proof positive that the NFL kicking talent that's left to be explored really isn't anything special.

You’d think with the shortage of kicking talent in the world that kickers would make $30 million per year.

The Titans have had 3 kickers this season so far. They are just scrambling for anything they can to have a chance to make a FG.bc Titans special teams coordinator sees a player they can use to win games.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he all of a sudden becomes one of the more accurate kickers in the NFL. Who knows what this coaching staff was doing with him.I'm confused as to why they brought him in. Couldn't they evaluate him in real game situations by watching Cowboys games?

He would be Tennessee's 4th kicker this season. lol
