Supposedly looked explosive yesterday, like a DeSean Jackson/Mike Wallace type player, anyone else go for him in the 3rd?

Heck no.

That is a luxury we can't afford right now.

Receiver is way down on the list of needs. And by way down, I mean it's tied with Punter in last place.

We need more speed on offense

if we trade down in 1 to get an extra 2nd or 3rd, then in 4th we can go speedy WR for the slot who is also PR/KR

If Young has a ridiculous 40 time, he'll be an early 2nd rounder.

I've been eyeing Titus Young at Boise St. for the last two seasons. He falls into that same category of deep-speed threats ala Mike Wallace & DeSean Jackson.

Having said that, as others have mentioned WR is way down on the list of priorities.

I have a feeling that Jerry will be counting on a guy like Ogletree for a breakout season.

If we release RW, WR becomes somewhat of a need again... It's not like we shouldn't draft a receiver at all, besides, we do need a slot guy.

I'd look at him in the 4th.

I love Young's speed, but I don't think he has reliable enough hands to be counted on in the slot.

If I'm looking to the draft to fill our slot need, I'd be looking at Broyles or Jeremy Kerley from TCU.

Young is a great player, I would love to have him, but I just don't think we need a receiver at this point.

Or Jerrigan/Cobb.

I'll gladly replace Roy Williams with Titus Young.:) Use the pick from the Roy trade to take WR Young or use it to trade up to get him.

We need to spend our picks elsewhere. Dez and Austin are 1-2 all day, every day. 3rd round is too high for someone who doesn't have a chance at starting.

Enough weapons in the passing game for this offense already. Dez, Miles, Witten is more than what most teams have. We need to spend our first 4-5 picks on OLine, DLine, and secondary

I love me some Jeremy kerley he looked like a man amongst boys when he ran routes from the slot position

Kerley is a good name at slot plus add in his ST exp.

Another name they are talking about that would be good in the slot is the WR from Hawaii Salas (sp?)

Broyles isnt coming out.

Love that little dude

I would really love to have this guy, but the team is in such bad shape (up front on both lines) that it really can't afford to spend a second round pick on him. He looks legit. This guy is a smooth route runner and can fly. His stock has to be soaring.

I wonder if he sneaks into late round 1.
