We're getting to a point in the draft that I would feel good about drafting him.

We could even give him a redshirt year so his injury could heal.

We shoulda considered that before taking Chaz Green in the 3rd....kinda too late now

I would only consider that with one of the 7th rounders now...starting to get overloaded once chaz got taken...

I agree. Our bread and butter is the running game and you can tell our philosophy says its the O-line that drives that running game. So keep adding pieces and get a starting RT caliber player esp with Tyron here for the next decade. He's already a better prospect than Parnell was 2 years ago.

Green can play now, Clemmings needs to develop and has the injury. He has major upside though very athletic.

I understand that but I'm talking strictly from a roster space standpoint. Is Clemmings an IR candidate? I honestly only heard of this foot injury draft night so I'm not sure what his status is for the upcoming season.

I like the concept of taking players that can be put on IR. It's effectively and extra developmental roster spot. They can't practice, but they attend meeting and get coaching.

I'm excited to see Chris Whaley who was a udfa last year. He is like having an extra pick this year.
