I like him as a LEGIT 1T/NT....but, he is NOT a 3rd Rounder. He should be available in the 5th Round. While their words are not the Bible, most of the Draft Pundits view him as a 6th/7th Rounder.

Watch his play against Oklahoma in the bowl game. Yes, a lot of players tapped out and didn't suit up for the game. Slaton did, so that's a positive. He played in that game like someone who took the game off while in uniform. His effort wasn't great.

I think those draft pundits need to watch more tape and quit looking at this underwear crap. This kid can play.. Frankly I don't care where we get him as long as we get him..

I like Bobby Brown from A&M more...not only is he already a great run-stopper, but he has some pass-rush potential as well. Seems like a better athlete than Slaton at almost the same size - and Brown has better “length” (32 5/8” arms for Slaton vs 34 5/8 for Brown).

Yeah I didn't really watch that bowl game very closely.. I think I just had it on in the background while I did chores around the house after I saw the long list of guys who had opted out I kind of expected the Gators to be there in uniform only and it played out that way. I liked what I saw from Slaton most of the season.. played on the other side of the line of scrimmage as much as any DT I saw all year.

Offers next to nothing as a pass rusher and is a day 3 draft pick. Good two down run stopper though.

Yeah Brown would be a good one to have too. Hell draft them both.. We got 10 picks left to make!!!
