We had an exceptional draft last year, probably the best in DC history, so I'll wait to see how it turns out before making the big judgement that we regressed this year. However, I screamed at the TV when we took TACO instead of Watt, and I have a feeling this will always be one we missed.

Kellen Moore is the man, can't wait to see him sit and hold a clipboard tonight.

Stats I expect....

3 bottled water drinks, tying shoestrings nonstop, touching his hair thruout the game to find a zit.

Easier to say that then to just admit this team can't evaluate defensive players. Scouting dept to the front office.

You want beef?

(I wanted Watt)

Seems we have done a better job lately.

Collins in the third and Brown in the 6th last year were good picks. Jaylon Smith could be a boom draft pick.

Think the only bad pick for defense recently had nothing to do with on field evaluations, but off the field(Gregory)

Some guys like Jones need to step up this third year for example, or may be considered a meh pick.

They can evaluate playing a terrible OL like the Browns and a green rookie QB that started for them that had no idea what NFL pressure is.

Watt had injury issues in College and I just can't rue passing him up because I think he would be an injury risk here as a 4-3 DE.

He's playing in a Dick LeBeau-esque 3-4 scheme that doesn't share many characteristics with the most popular 3-4 Tuna scheme (and therefore, not a lot in common with a 4-3 DE.)

I'm happy for him and think he's got a good future.

Someone on the 105.3 pregame show said that the scouts preferred TJ Watt over Taco, but the coaches over-ruled them. Just looking at the college films, you can tell Taco doesn't have that explosive burst. I definitely was not a fan of Taco over Watt. I know it's early, but the Cowboys got this one wrong.

As an OLB.

Where's he playing here in Dallas?

I mean I liked Watt too but he's not playing OLB here and he's not an every down DE, so he'd have to be a specialty player.
