This may impact the draft. Seattle needs help on the OL, but everyone is assuming they'll go with Crabtree. Could this mean they now go for Eugene Monroe or Jason Smith?

Crabtree will go to the Raiders now. Book it.

I think if they get the chance to get Crabtree they would still do it.

Free agent T.J. Houshmandzadeh will sign a multi-year deal with the Seahawks, according to the National Football Post.
Seattle was offering at least $2M more than both the Vikings and Bengals. The 'Hawks were also desperate for a durable wideout. Housh was a flanker in Cincinnati and that's Deion Branch's position in Seattle. Branch could now be moved to the slot or cut, as it was rumored he might be in the winter.

They should still take Crabtree, turn a position of weakness into a position of strength in one draft pick. Bet thats why Whosyourmama signed there.

If I were the Seahawks I would still take Crab if that is who they wanted before TJ signed.

if i were seattle i'd take eugene monroe and let him learn from walter jones. IMO Crabtree is overrated, not saying he's gonna be a bust but not worth the #4 pick

Wow....

Per Rotoworld;

T.J. Houshmandzadeh-WR-Seahawks Mar. 2 - 6:13 pm et

Seahawks signed WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh to a five-year, $40 million contract. The deal includes $15 million in guarantees.
Seattle had an edge over the Bengals and Vikings because it's closest to Housh's L.A. home, but GM Tim Ruskell still overpaid. While Houshmandzadeh has more catches than anyone over the last four years and figures to have 2-3 strong seasons left, going five years with this much guaranteed on a wideout who'll be 32 in September is extremely risky. Housh is also going to a more balanced offense that won't play from behind as much as the Bengals. He'll be Seattle's No. 1 receiver, but will have to learn a West Coast offense and is unlikely to approach the 90-reception mark again.

Why would you say that?

I love it how how fans think they have the answers to life's mysteries.

Maybe. It's a much tougher call now. There may be an elite OLT available and they have real need on that line. Also, there is an outside shot that Stafford falls to the 4th pick now--which would be intriquing, but maybe not enough for the Hawks.

Poor McFlabb.

LOL too bad for McChunky. I hope he never gets a legit WR threat. Hopefully he will moonwalk his big butt out of Philly soon!

He will put up 90-100 catches and 1100-1300 yards in Seattle if he stays healthy for at least the next three seasons.

I was a little disappointed we didn't show any interested in TJ. If we could have given TO's money to him that would have been sweet!
