The season opener is here. The Dallas Cowboys face a strong New York Giants team. Who wins? Here, I predict the score and analyze the game.
Well, that time of year has arrived. Dallas Cowboys. New York Giants. Welcome to the season opener!

The start of the season marks the end of the summer, which was a period many of us would like to leave behind.

They say a win changes narratives. Right now, the Cowboys and fans around the globe could use a win, especially against a division rival and the circus of a summer the team had. Can America’s Team boot the season 1-0? To answer that, we have to address the major hurdle that could determine not only the score of the Giants game, but several games after.

Of course, we are talking about the one and only Ezekiel Elliott. If the star runner out of Ohio State was dressing with absolute certainty, I’d have the game penciled down as 27-17. So, what’s different? Let me list my thoughts:...

Very difficult for the Boys to win when the NFL is in the middle of trying to conspire against them. With all the effort they are taking to ensure Zeke can't play in game 1, don't imagine it will take nearly as much to strongarm the refs to take a very favorable NY stance in regards to calls made.

The Boys would have to be a far superior team to win and overcome the NFL bias. While I'm sure they are better, not sure they are so much better to win despite unfair outside influences.

I expect it to be a tight game down to the wire...I think Henderson rules that the 6 game suspension is upheld but Zeke will secure an injunction and will play Sunday night..Dallas will have a tough time running the ball consistently against the Giant defensive front four.... spread the Giants out, run toss sweeps, middle screens, bootlegs, swing passes to get outside and draws out of the spread formation...
