Tnew Stats last Year - Little Help Please

I know this has been discussed before. Can someone help me out with Newman's stats last season such as Times thrown against, touchdowns given up, etc.

The drive time guys on Austin sports radio were slamming TNew this morning for not being a shutdown corner. I want to call them out for not knowing their facts.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I had a little bit different numbers than AdamJT13, but I was very close. I trust Adam's judgement over mine so I go with his stats.

Anyway, TNew's stats were 30-70, 320 yards, 0 TD's and 4 INT's. He's given 3 INT's in his own stat book, but one of the 4 INT's came off him tipping a pass on a slant against SF that wound up being picked off by Dat Nguyen and sealing the game for us.

For Newman's supposedly "bad year" in 2004, he still finished 8th overall in CB metric according to KC Joyner.

Also, Newman didn't allow a pass longer than 23 yards and only allowed one catch in the red zone....in the last week of the season to Kevin Curtis.

i saw where it said t.n.t (newman) didnt let any touchdowns go, 30-70 for passes only let one pass of 23 yards go and 346 yards or something. can i see these aligned next to others. Have to prove my dad wrong who says he only sees newman chasing people down for long passes! THANKS!

I agree with him he woudl be a good saftey though, hes a solid tackler. and truly my dad has been watching football all his life i usualy trust him and he is rather smart. And the thing is we dont see many dallas games in wisconsin, and in 2004 it did seem like all newman was doing was chasing people down, but this year he owned.

Also TNew didn't get pass interfernce call on him all year, Show me another corner that has done that in a year. He is a top 3 corner now. With Terrell here it's going to make him that much better...... scary

DHall wasn't even close to Newman in coverage if I recall

Hall statistically was one of the most overrated CB's in football...he gave up ALOT

definitely one of those guys who is more talk than do right now, and he talked his way to a probowl slot he didnt deserve last yr
