When it comes to uniforms, I’ve never understood the aesthetics of black for the sake of black. I get it’s a neutral color like white. But grey and brown are also neutral colors. You don’t see grey or brown alternates if grey or brown isn’t an official team color.

Fans buy black jerseys. That's why so many college teams have one. I think it's cliche' but I'm not of the demographic buying jerseys.
