How smart was cole beasley to get out of here? All the people here who laughed at him when he said the bills were the better organization and that Allen was a great athlete.

I remember that blogging the boys idiot constantly harassing him last year.

People laughed at me after the 2017 season, when I said the Browns were closer to a SB than we were. :muttley:

I bet Bell ends up in Philly.

If I was him, I would try and see if Pitt would take him back. Not sure his standing with that team but he fits the best under Tomlin. He would have to be the backup, though and not sure his ego allows that.

But he didn't play in 2018. Averaged 3.2 ypc in 2019. And like 3.8 this year. He is not the same guy he used to be.

No chance Pitt takes him back. They were tired of his act and he's not the player he was back then.

Ummmm the very next season, we got to the divisional round of the playoffs. 2018 and 2019, the Browns were terrible. Only now do they have a better record. So that was a dumb statement back then. You can't take credit for it years later.

Bell could fit in with the chargers. Isn't Eckler on IR?

He only left because we didn't pay him what he wanted. Had we paid him, he absolutely would have stayed. He made those statements because he was the resentful ex who tells their ex that their current partner is much better and how toxic they were. We did not want him here any longer, not the other way around.

People here were making fun of him for ending up in Buffalo. He's had the last laugh ever since, including scoring a TD in a Bills Thanksgiving beatdown.

His statements were true and have proved to be true every moment since he said them.

You missed my point. He didn't believe those statements when he made them. He was hurt and resented Dallas for not signing him. The fact he happened to be right does not change my point. And that was Cole did not walk away from here. We did not want him or need his services any longer.

Wake me up when Buffalo actually does something besides be the cute little darling regular season team.

No it was not a dumb statement back then. It was meant for over the coming years. It would have been dumb if I said it was for the next year.
Of course they were terrible. But it was for the future. And you know it, do not try to change what you know I meant.

He's not out for the season, though.

Bell hasn't been the same player since he sat out a year and got paid. I don't think teams will be lining up to sign him, especially given the attitude issues.

Kind of like someone else who got released and can't find a job.

Again, still missing my point completely. I am not even speaking on the 2 teams or if he was right/wrong. People act like he willingly walked away and wanted out of here and was so relieved. Only after we essentially "broke up" with him, he made those statements like a scorned ex.

I didn't miss your point. You haven't made one. You're attacking an imaginary premise. No one in this thread has said he walked away.

I did not realize Clowney signed with the Titans, or maybe I just forgot in the mix of all that has been going on.

Why? They've already got young guys who can't average 4 yards per carry. Bell's leadership skills are on par with ET.

Just figured to replace Guice. Did to realize they had another RB that was doing any good.
