I think he's just another one of those QBs who can be good enough with the right team built around him, like Dak, like Hurts, etc. There are very few truly elite QBs who can overcome the team around them. In fact, I'm not sure there's any. Even Mahomes lost in the Super Bowl last year because his team wasn't good enough.
