And people were pissed when we lost to the Texans. I knew they were better than their record showed at the time.

Cowboys, Dolphins. Commanders, Raiders. These used to be storied franchises.
goodell and owners are making it even for all teams and in so doing with cap and FA player rights, contracts, it is now
a league with almost no good teams.
This year only 4-6 good teams, NE, KC, maybe chargers, then NO, Rams and maybe one other team yet to be revealed.
And these teams are not really that good like some teams in old days, they are just better than the other crap teams.

So what we have now is a lot of diva players getting 100 million $ contracts, and doing their silly celebrations even in losing efforts.
And there are no great teams, no great coaches, 2 or 3 that seem great because of their competition, and it is all
getting boring to me.

It is no longer a great sport but a PC/ RKG/ Silly rules entertainment platform, and it makes billions, and they dont even pay
for their stadiums. It has become something of a racket lol
they dont pay for anything, the fans and tv networks pay all the expenses, and the cash just rolls in to the owners.

yeah they are not that good, but they have won 5 in a row.
lets see where they are after 5 more games.
like I said in above post all the teams are mostly crap teams, it is just who does best among the crap teams.

I see hopkins again making big plays, so the offense is leaning on him a lot. that is what dallas hopes amari can do with dallas lol.

Arm was going forward when he was hit, it's an incomplete pass regardless if the ball went backwards

I understand the rule but it's logically inconsistent. If Osweiler had one-hopped the ball on the trick play (backwards throw) to Amendola, would that not have been a live ball? Why should this play have been any different?

arm was going forward, all else after is irrelevant

Here is what I found and you are absolutely correct.

"If the passer is attempting to throw a forward pass, but contact by an opponent materially affects him, causing the ball to go backward, it is a forward pass, regardless of where the ball strikes the ground, a player, an official, or anything else."

I still think this is BS but the correct call was made going by the rules. My personal opinion has no basis in reality.
