So, maybe it was smart for the 49ers to get out there early and get acclimated. McVay's plan will get second guessed for sure. Rams defense surely didn't look like they had spent big money on huge upgrades.

The Rams predicted success was predicated on the assumption that Stafford could replicate his 2025 season. That assumption appears to have possibly been misguided. He looks OLD, velocity is noticeably less and he was struggling to push the ball downfield accurately.

No one in the history of the NFL replicated the season Stafford just had, especially at his age. For the Rams to hinge their season on him doing exactly that shows a lot of hubris.

Or maybe that’s why they decided to go all out and surround him with stars on the defense.

We’re rural and got Starlink 6 months ago. It’s been great and zero issues during storms. It’s not cheap, but not that much more than the Verizon/Frontier FIOS we had in Flower Mound.

I looked it up earlier today actually and prices in range with other services.
I got a great deal on ATT Fiber when it frost came out. At $25 per month, normally $50.
That was about 6 or 7 years ago. The last 2 years it went up, now at $35 a month.
Run 3 TV’s, 2 sometimes 3 computers or laptops. 2 or 3 phones, and an iPad.
No issues. Except a few times I think they throttle it down and some websites lag a bit, like my emails.

I have setup Starlink for a couple of people with limited Internet options in the country and they have been happy with it. Probably more costly but seems to work well.

Watching here via an unofficial provider, and the broadcast has been flawless.

It’s buffered on the app and on my Superbox it’s my T-Mobile gateway. It’s 4 years old now and probably needs an upgrade at this point. It’s setup so it won’t switch to 2.4g it will only connect to 5G

Dont see the 49ers doing much this year. They're still relying on players from 4 years ago to carry them there. Not many teams are gonna rely on old players to get them to the Super Bowl.

Ty Simpson started 15 games in college. He is nowhere near ready or even close to starting in the NFL. At most he will be a career backup.
