TNF - Giants @ Panthers

Meh the Eagles don't scare me. We couldn't guard them last season at all because we just didn't have enough speed in the middle. Now we do with Bruce Carter in the starting lineup. Carter might be the fastest linebacker in all of football. You combine him with another very fast guy in Sean Lee and you have arguably the quickest middle linebacker combo in football. Our corners are much better. Vick won't be throwing against the likes of Terrance Newman and Alan Ball anymore. Insert guys like Brandon Carr and Morris Claibourne. Then you have Mike Jenkins in the slot as the third corner and you have a defense that will be very tough to throw against. I mentioned this earlier, but the defense has been very good this season. Against a very explosive Giants offense they only allowed 17 points. Last week against Seattle they only allowed 17 points, but special teams allowed 10 points.

Vick has already 6 interceptions in two games. They've been very fortunate that the opposing quarterbacks have had key mistakes as well. There's no way that they can continue to turn the ball over at the ridiculous rate they have and still win games. Vick is gonna have to take care of the ball better and I don't see him doing that against our defense.

As for the Giants they're the defending Super Bowl Champions. They shouldn't fear anybody and they should feel like they're the team to beat until someone knocks them out. Hopefully it's the Dallas Cowboys. We do matchup very well with them as we showed in Week 1, but we still play them one more time. I have a feeling that final meeting will determine who was the NFC East.

You my friend will probably be right, and those are the kind of games we live for!

I see the Panthers winning in a blowout since the Giants are

1. Missing key offensive players

2. Have a weak secondary

Yikes.
