They weren't going to challenge. Thomas Davis called the time out and forced Rivera's hand. Smart call by the LB.

Actually I think we all should be pulling for Denver for the Cowboys sake....Considering Carolina plays a poor division...the road through the playoffs might go Carolina @ this rate.

If I'm a QB coach for the Broncos, this game tells me I need to teach this kid to when to lob the ball, not to throw it flat. He's had a lot of passes batted down. Of course, he lobbed one early when he shouldn't have and got picked off, but in an end zone situation you have to get that ball over the defender

Yep. Calling a timeout to risk another loss of timeout with a challenge? Their usage of timeouts in the 1st half and then there is questionable to say the least.

Also, CJ Anderson will be a big help for the rookie this season.
