Over Lawrence & Jones ?
To be honest with you yes on Jones not really on Lawrence prob cause he was rated so high for so long. I thought there was a real chance bears stayed put and took Mills. Shocked he lasted so late. Reminded me of Peyton the way his stance is.

Hoping the team is focusing on the Eagles unlike the fans focusing on the Panthers. One game at a time.

Just tuned in. 7-6 Panthers in the 3rd quarter. What is happening? Panthers playing bad? Texans playing 'good' even with a backup QB playing in his first start?

I commented in another post how good he looked in preseason against Dallas . I don’t think Watson plays another down in Houston , if they can unload him for some picks they should . Mills can be the future and a good one for Houston . They need a couple of drafts to stock up .

McCaffrey out with a hammy. Horn just left, looks bad. And Carolina can't get out of their own way.

Just a I thought a total wimp, go sit down wimp, you're wasting my time.

You know as well as I do Zeke gets the job.

More of these type of articles to come. Pollard is the more skilled back.

Ezekiel Elliott: Are the Dallas Cowboys better with Tony Pollard as their starting running back?
Good Morning Football's Kyle Brandt: "Tony Pollard should be playing more; he is the starter by every metric except for fame and his contract. Zeke should absolutely still be part of the offense, but he should be the 'change of pace' back"

Pollard never had more than 98 carries in a season in college. He's good at what he does. Expecting him to be a 20-25 carries a week back is not realistic.

But a 50/50 split makes sense, regardless of the "starting" RB.

I agree. 50/50 is perfect.

I would in fact continue to start Zeke and give him more snaps simply because of his blocking on passing downs. And we all know Zeke would crumble like a soccer player and start complaining if Pollard became the man. Its better this way all around for the team.

It would make more sense to go with the hot hand instead of forcing a 50-50 split. IMHO
