Osweiler has looked very average at best the first 2 games. Nothing special about him at all. Looks like another Alex Smith clone.

Watching this game, makes me wonder how different we could be with a real coaching staff, not the Benny Hill theme music staff we have. They never miss a beat no matter what injuries they have.

I wonder what the NE coaches could do with our defense.

we may be .500 mediocre but at least we can do that much. give our opponents a close game. generally speaking. probably lose by a wider margin than usual against pats or panthers etc.

Much better than what we do. That's for sure. We get the least out of what we have as much as any team can from a coaching perspective.

You think Bill has worked with top rated defenses his whole tenure with NE? Not even close. But he wins and wins no matter whom he has. A great staff can overcome obstacles that our JV staff can't. They need every single star to align just to win a measly wild card. Patriots win divisions and divisional round games in their sleep.

It makes you wonder how good was Tony Romo during the prime of his career. The Patriots can go 13-5 without Brady and we go 1-13 with a good team around Romo. Jason Garrett and company may have wasted the career of one of the NFL's all time greatest quarterbacks.

As did Jerry and the front office. Never gave Romo even close to a serviceable defense to fall back onto. They asked him to do way too much too often.
