TNF: Pats vs Texans Game Thread

Going 11-5 with Matt Cassel isn't too bad without Brady.

Now they are going to be 3 or 4 wins out of 4 without him this season.

JG on the other hand is 2-15 or whatever without Romo.

I'm assuming Stash is one of those who wanted to waste money on a JAG like Miller.

You can find Lamar Millers in the mid rounds of every draft. They aren't special.

I think a few things are really letting them down. Looks like their offensive line is struggling. Not hard to imagine after losing your left tackle and center, and Osweiler doesn't look good either.

And where's that vaunted defense?

The defense is why this is still a game. It stopped the Pats and forced punts on around 5 drives.

Winner.

But I'm not really concerned with what he thinks is a good argument. Until little Bill is something more than failure without Brady, winner with him...I'd never consider him the GOAT. The cheating thing is just odd to praise him for. It's hard to take that seriously.
But he keeps winning without Brady. Doesn't matter.

Still has his team prepared. And executing.

Look at Garrett. Can't win without Romo.

One of these things is not like the other.

There is a big difference between a good baseball player doping to become great and a head coach in the NFL bending the rules and finding loopholes.

I will take a page out of your condescending style when you have nothing:

I feel sorry for you that you cannot see the difference in your incredibly ignorant analogy.
A) You're showing your ignorance if you think Bonds was a "good player" before the doping. Like that is a seriously embarrassing comment. Here...educate yourself....

B) Bill didn't bend the rules. He broke them. Repeatedly. And tried to cover it up. That's what we call cheating here on planet EArth.

So little Bill is the best ever because he's out performed Jason Garrett working for Jerry Jones?

The cheating angle might be better than this.

This is hysterical. Houston pays out the *** for a QB and doesn't trust him. (I wouldn't either, he looks horrible.) Pays out the *** for a RB that doesnt have the size to run up the middle (does it anyway.) If I were a Texan fan I'd be livid. Or just be a Cowboys fan. Makes more sense.

No he is ONE of the best ever because it doesn't really matter who is on the field they just keep winning year after year.

Who lost out to Coach Curly? O'Brian literally seems to be having stooge-like break downs on the sidelines

Wow. A low point for you.

Do you think a single GM in the league would take Miller over Elliott?

I'm not asking to be enlightened. I'm asking to see if you're worth reading ever again.

Think what you want about me. I don't need your approval.

Well, actually it kind of matters who's on the field. Tom Brady has to be there. Otherwise he's done nothing for anyone to ever call him great.

Well lets wait for Elliott to proves he is special before calling him special

Houston's D is the only think making this still a game. Giving up 10 pts in NE in the first half = good.

The offense has done nothing, though. And Belichick is making adjustments right now.

What's he done without Brady?

Look what Parcells did with the Giants, Patriots, Jets, and Cowboys.

He went to the playoffs with Quincy Carter. Think about that for a minute.

He's a SB DC with Big Bill, and had 1 stint with Cleveland. Carroll looked bad at NE, but turned out ok at USC and Sea. What has he done without Brady?? Well who the heck found Brady?? And who else can change the offense 3-4 times and have no skill players and still win?

I'm not seeing them making any critical plays. In fact, I'm seeing guys like Jonathan Joseph struggling and Watt being a non-factor.

Too much invested on that side of the ball with too few results.

They gave up 10 pts in the 1st half to one of the leagues elite teams on the road. They got the job done.

Don't get me wrong, I'd trade defense's with them in a minute, I'm just not seeing any game deciding plays. And that "elite team" has a 3rd choice rookie out there, so they're not exactly themselves.
