TNF: Steelers at Browns

Not in my book. I enjoy watching players showcasing their skills to win games. Inclement weather squashes that and favors excess fumbles, slipping, sliding, crazy miscues and blind luck both good and bad.
Interesting take. Then I guess all NFL teams should be required to play in climate-controlled, domed stadiums with artificial turf? I'm sure the Allies would have loved to compete against the Axis Powers with no unforeseen variables?

But, when you think about it for a minute...aren't the "fumbles, slipping, sliding, crazy miscues and blind luck" what make football unpredictable and fun? Otherwise, we could just run everything through a computer simulation and be done with it. Ho hum.

Thursday night, the Browns handled adversity better than the Steelers did. That's not only football...it's life.

It was an absolutely awesome game. I enjoyed it very much and it became a part of the perfect storm.

"Should"? I was merely stating a personal preference, not a "should" or shouldn't thing. And yes I do wish they were all played in domed stadiums where the weather is not a factor. I don't watch football for a weather report, I watch it because I like the game for their skill and ability. If I wanted to watch winter sports I'd watch the winter Olympics where many of their sports actually require winter weather for snow and ice.
