NOBODY thinks you can win this game.
Nobody in the national press thinks so, most of your fans deep down don't think so either. "Shoot (as Tony Romo would say)..." I guess everyone has to expect this kind of game at some point..."
All I'm hearing is about how invincible the Patriots are... and how it's a foregone conclusion that they will cruise to another Super Bowl championship. How great Brady is, the Defense, Belichek, Moss, etc. All just top-tier, world championship quality players. How many more weapons (defensively especially) they have, and how much more experienced they are in "big" ballgames.
I suppose there is no evidence to suggest that your team has the resolve to defeat the big bad New England Patriots. The Patriots are world champs A LONELY SEASON removed! When have you done something amazing lately??
After all you're just a 5-0 ballclub plugging away... not once demonstrating any real ability on a football field. Never gone into a hostile environment. never won a "big" game, never overcame tremendous adversity. Never had a kicker with a big kick to make to win a ballgame. Never had the kicker hit it twice.
When's the last time your teams QB shown any kind of playmaking ability, or heart. Never had said QB on the verge of an NFL record for passing yards in his first 16 NFL starts. Never had an unhealthy CB make a big play at a big time in his first start back.
The Cowboys have no running back with any kind of determination, do they?. Don't have big time WR's who can match up with the Randall Gay's of the world. TO? Asante Samuel (?) will eat him alive for sure. TO's talent pales in comparison. Definitely don't have a TE that can beat 40ish Junior Seau or the imitable ball hawks Adalius Thomas and Mike Vrabel, certainly. Definitely can't stop Sammy Morris. He's a beast! Pass rushers? Cmon now. Nick Kaczur > DeMarcus Ware ... EASY!
What to do- sniff....
Aye... ya got two choices, Cowboys.
You can go out there and show ur gracious hosts to the inevitable world champs and go home to your family's and watch ESPN predict a playoff exit "in a nice season" for your squad. You can show the nation and your legions of fans that hey there's always next year....
or:
You CAN go out on Sunday with a simple- yet effective- inclination. And that would be to knock everything in a stupid smirky Patriots logo into sublimation. To go out on the field on Sunday and punish the man in front of you for being what noone thinks you are.
You CAN ... lie in wait, and uncoil on any tall and lanky, short and speedy, small and white, big and tall receivers that dare tread in your waters. To pound the living sh__t out of everyone not wearing a Star on their helmet until they cry for clam chowder. To stay within the rules (unlike your opponent)- and show the nation what happens when the Brady Bunch meets CSI.
You CAN hammer. You CAN scratch and claw. You CAN avoid danger and make good decisons. You CAN get open. You CAN defeat a block. You CAN make a play- they're not just for Patriots ya know... I believe it was Deion who said.... "a play dun care who make it... somebody make a play" right?
You WILL fight. You will EARN your respect. You will make this "perfect" team fear your colors everytime they put on their uniforms, after all they are- make no mistake... rip-offs of your own.
You will "protect this house" (Julius- ...

Either way, your season will continue... to it's inevitable course. And should you earn the right to play the cocky, media darlings from the overrated pit that is Boston, Mass with their "legions" of smarmy Red Sox fans in tow on a neutral field... rather than your HOME turf... things might not look so dire in a certain "lost" cause.
