What basis do you have to criticize an NFL quarterback who is successful enough to have thrown for 500 yards in one game? I'm sure he waits eagerly for your input!

All the media experts, with the benefit of all-22 video, and hindsight, who get paid based on their ability to make controversial comments to sports fans.... have garnered Romo's deep respect:rolleyes:

Until you have made the right decision 50 consecutive times, with 300+ pound lineman chasing to crush your bones against the turf, withold your opinion, at least do not take yourself and your football opinion too seriously.

The day we lose Tony Romo, very likely begins the decade that Dallas no longer sees .500.

Go Cowboys!

Matt Schaub threw for 500 yards in a game last year, just saying. and so has Eli and Vince Ferragamo and Elvis Grbac. Can we criticize them?

That's right Eli manning and even MATT SCHAUB has thrown for 500+.

Play for the ages? I think not. Atleast not in today's NFL.

I say if Romo drives down the field for the win for 600 yards and 6 touchdowns, we got a whole nother story.

Eh I wouldn't be so sure about this "Post-Romo Apocalypse" that everyone fears. We're in a Golden Age of QBs and that will probably continue for the future as we move towards a passing-oriented style of football in the pros and college game. We're seeing an NFL where the likes of Ryan Tannehill, Jake Locker, and EJ Manual can come in and not look too shabby.

it's funny how stats get everyone's attention, I was home from work today and must have heard Romo had 500 yards a thousand times on tv. If he had 499 would it be getting any play at all besides just being a hell of an exiting game?

Yeah, and the interesting thing is that if these same "media experts" were criticizing Romo, you would be damning them to hell, saying they are idiots, and they are just hating on Romo. :D
