Those saying we won't be better next year or that this is a badly coached team.

First of all you weren't a Cowboy fan when Campo was here. Yeah the talent was bad then but the coaching wasn't that good either. Compared to then we have such a better coached team it's not even funny.

Losing your best 2 LBs will really hurt you no matter how good your LBs are. Losing your best LB doesn't usually help. Dat Nguyen to me was our version of Ray Lewis. No he's not near as good as Ray Lewis. Ray Lewis is the best LB in the league when healthy. But he's a leader there and he always makes plays. I don't care if he's too small or slow or whatever. The guy made plays for us. I hope he can come back because he is big time.

Singleton is a type of guy that can atleast step in that spot and make some plays. Not as good as Dat but he's pretty good.

But losing Flozell Adams killed our OLine. He made that OLine rock solid because now you have to have a weaker guy defending Bledsoe's blind side and it just kills your OLine.

Another big injury has been Henry. Since he got hurt earlier in the year he hasn't been the same or he hasn't played at all. And Glenn has had a solid career and is a decent corner but he's not as good as Henry and it's not even close. If Henry is healthy all year then we have 2 solid corners.

The problem with this team isn't coaching or it isn't talent. If we were healthy right now we are talking about a possible bye week still.

every year is different, every team is undefeated. we gotta draft well and we gotta coach much better. then we have the same chances as the rest of the league.

I agree. And we've drafted well the last couple years I think. But the talent right now isn't the problem. If we were health then we would be fine.

The best teams at the end are the healthiest, coaching can only do so much.

The Pats were nothing to be worred about untill they recently got healthy, the Packers (almost always contenders) are just horrible, and the Eagles...you get the point.

People say you should be able to overcome injuries and such, but its just not that simple.

When your best players are hurt you'll be inconsistant.

Good teams have players that step up with starters are hurt. In the era of free agency and 32 teams, there is no such luxury of using injuries as an excuse.

You either have players that step up or you don't. And that is the difference between winning and losing.

Well, when you put your trust Torrin Tucker, Andre Gurode, Stephen Peterman, Petitte, and Jacob Rogers, the shi* will inevitably hit the fan.

We didn't put all our trush in those guys when the year started. Those guys are good if they aren't relied opon as the OLinemen. Problem is injuries forced them to play more then they should have played. Especially with Tucker.

I agree and disagree to a certain extent. When you miss multiple important guys there isnt anything you can do.

I believe this goes double for offensive line positions where the success of the offense is dictated. Teams that lose too much at any position are just not going to be able to make it.

It's harder to have depth everywhere in the NFL with it being watered down. Almost every team in the NFL has depth problems at one place or another if they don't win the season starts they usually will when the season ends. Even the Colts have depth problems at one position or another I bet.

Look up Bledsoe's numbers at his previous stops and you'll see that his numbers get worse not better the longer he plays for you. This year we didn't play many dominate defenses, yet struggled offensively, next year we play the Pats, the Dolphins, the Jets and the Bills, plus Carolina, the Hawks and the Bucs, teams that traditionally are pretty good defensively, not to mention the Eagles will be stronger as will the Giants and Commanders. I count potentially 10 teams with good defenses. Tell me what you find encouraging about those opponents.
