So, we need to be fans of Minny, NO, TB as they will impact our playoffs chances; our philly game is going to matter to seattle in a big way....I predict Carolina is #5 seed and Dallas is #6 seed unless, of course, the team lays an egg in the next two weeks and loses one against NY or Oak

NOTE: the NFC having a log jam, at the top is actually a good thing for Dallas as no one will clinch anything early and they will all have to play for their positioning; also< I am not entertaining that Dallas has a shot at the division as philly isn't losing their next 3 (nyg and oak in there)

Remaining schedule that matters to Dallas:

* Dallas wins next 3 to get to 9-6 and then week 17 will get REALLY interesting

Detroit (6-6) - easiest schedule of the remaining teams - you can almost see them winning out (but, they lose to GB to finish 9-7
14: @ Bucs
15: Bears
16: @ Bengals
17: Packers

Green Bay (6-6) - they win this week, then have 3 tough games left (pred: 8-8)
14: @ Browns
15: @ Panthers
16: Vikings
17: @ Lions

Carolina (8-4) - they lose this week then run the table (pred: 11-5)
14: Vikings
15: Packers
16: Bucs
17: @ Falcons

Atlanta (7-5) - toughest schedule remaining going 1-3 to finish 8-8, 9-7 at best
14: Saints
15: @ Bucs
16: @ Saints
17: Panthers

Seattle (8-4) also a tough schedule they lose in weeks 14 & 16 to finish 10-6
14: @ Jags
15: Rams
16: @ Cowboys
17: Cards

I know we're all Cowboy homers but that's a lot that has to break in our favor for us to barely get in. Not a lot has gone great this season for us up to this point.

I think it's pretty much a sure thing that we have to win all of our our last 4 games or we're not getting in, and even if we do it doesn't guarantee we're getting in since we have losses to Atlanta and Green Bay two teams we're competing against for wild card spots.

16: @ Bengals - Don't sleep on the Bengals @ home. They have been playing better and I think that this is an 'L' for the Lions.
17: Packers

Green Bay (6-6) - they win this week, then have 3 tough games left (pred: 8-8)
14: @ Browns - Given yesterday's performance, and the fact that it's really hard to go 0-16, I think that this one will be a lot closer than most people think. Going out on a limb and saying that the Brownies get their first 'W' of the season here.

14: @ Jags - Another team that is a lot better than what people think and what their record shows...especially on the defensive side of the ball. Really not an out on a limb kinda pick but I like the Jags here since they are @ home and the 'Hawks are coming off of an emotional win.
15: Rams
16: @ Cowboys
17: Cards

Carolina looks like the toughest scheule to me if the Falcons game means anything to them, remember Rodgers is back for there game as well.

Hoping for things to fall our way these next couple of games until we get Zeke back, then lets get things rolling on offense.

( idk, pants? When it gets down to nut crackin' time like this,it's almost impossible to 'see' how it'll play out,the one certainty is it will all flop out to where the better coached& established teams move on ,while lessors hang up the cleats for a spello_O)

glad you went thru all that work an not me

why do you want t the playoffs when we know or D is not good enuf to even win one game ??

Yeahhhh...were not going to the P.O.. .. I think once it' official and Jerry's post game, mid game, pre game speeches don't matter anymore; hopefully Garrett packs his bags

if we do get in as a sixth seed everybody is going to hope they don't play us.
I hear the scoffing but i can see the articles already. It will only add to the Dak/Cowboy mystic.

The team that is the most overlooked that I worry about the most is the Lions.

Look at the their remaining schedule and you’ll see why.

I figured GB may be eliminated by then so AR wouldn't play
That would mean Cleveland beats Green Bay next week?

If not, then they aren't eliminated before that Panther game.

The Rams haven't clinched the West yet, so if Seattle beats them, that's another team that we lost to that we'll be fighting for in a Wild Card situation.

I have come to the conclusion that we actually have enough talent overall to be a better than the middle of the NFL D - but marinneli is just not good enough to use them to the fullest extent of their capabilities.

I don't care if we make the playoffs, I only care that we do what we need to do to have a chance. We can't dwell on the past. Can only move forward trying to get better. We need to see if the young secondary guys are the answer. We need to know if are going to spend money on Hitchens and if we can count on Jaylon to keep improving.
