They choked when it mattered, just like the offense. Doesn't Phillips run our D? He sure got the credit against two losing teams. Now he should get the blame.

The BLAME???!!!!!

After directing the defense that played lights out for three quarters?

The Steelers just have something we dont! A quarterback who doesn't crumble when it counts, and instead RISES TO THE OCCASION!

Part blame on newman getting owned by holmes. Part of the blame on Romo for making poor throws.

What did he say?

He said that the game was lost on Offense...that we can't make turnovers like we did, etc....

This is ALL on ROMO.

Anyone who blames a defense who gives up 13 points is out of their mind.

Anyone who wants to blame WADE is out of their mind.

Anyone who blames ANYONE else is out of their mind. We had the game in hand. The most frustrating thing?:

Romo choked yet again, as is his custom. He will go home with Jessica on one arm smirking the whole way. The dude has no mental toughness to speak of, when it counts.

He only expressed his frustration to Ray Sherman at the end. No biggie.

Why didn't Garrett call more pass plays to Owens, when the DBs were lined up WAY off of him?:bang2:

I noticed that too, good question. Seems like regardless of where they lined up, T.O. usually had a long route.

I don't know that he didn't, Romo throws the ball.

i have no problem with T.O being angry at least someone on this damn team is showin some heart!!!

I agree, how can RW11 and TO not be involved in the offense. Garrett is killing this team with his throw 20 yards down field very play game plan.

quality in the clutch and Romo has yet to display this when the chips are down...he had a horrible first half, on par with the Buffalo debacle from last year...Garrett and Romo are on the hook for this one...the defense played as well as anyone here would admit that they would before the game...they went into a shell with thirteen points figuring it would be enough...the same attitude that bit them at Seattle two years ago...you want to play the percentages but you also want to keep your foot on the gas and stay aggressive...we worried about Choice, Williams, Barber, Ware but the last one anyone here would admit to worrying about was Romo.

I'm sorry but games like today are how he will continually be measured, you had a steely eyed QB [with a superbowl ring] with a steely eyed head coach and a steely eyed gameplan...they kept hacking at the tree until the final gun, while the Cowboys, in a game they needed more, folded like a cheap suit, continuing the same dismal December trend. Sickening.

the last 2 drives of the game he doesn't get looked at and witten and romo love fest with each other results in to the game losing turnover and romo just throwing an incompletion to the ground on the last play of the game.

this guy showed he is good with the ball in his hands and made the most of his oppourtunities but romo played another terrible game in a pressured situation.

i cant say that i dont blame him for being upset being overlooked and just losing a huge game im glad he is upset
even if he can deal with not being looked at, I can't blame him for being pissed by the fact that Romo held them back today. I think its ok to be upset with Romo's performance.... his performance, not him personally.

And his defense that gave up a huge drive?

Anyone blaming the D for this loss is a complete idiot. They played lights out. I dont care what you say about it. They were left with a short field the entire first half and had an outstanding goal line stand not to mention 5 sacks and to forced to's. This may be the best game the D has played all year.

Anyone that blames the D should get in line for the short bus.

Yeah, ok. The defense turned just as inept as the offense. You have to play all four quarters, the Cowboys didn't. The Steelers did.

I assume you always take the first seat?
