To SundayTicket or not to SundayTicket?

I've had Sunday Ticket for a few years now and while I've enjoyed the programming for the most part it seems this season there are 7 Cowboys games which are national telecasts. Plus, with the SuperFan option - which is an additional $100.00 - I can watch a lot of games in HD. The programming would seem to justify the cost of the HD tv/receiver/dish, but then again with so many games being nationally broadcast, I'm not sure the package is worth $300.00 especailly when all programming will be in HD next season.

Thoughts?

I wouldn't be without it. The best football related expenditure there is IMO.

Add Tivo and the SF package and it is a great deal.

Call their retention line. Somone on here has the number direct. Tell them that you are considering not getting the Sunday ticket because the price has went up and you don't have an HD receiver, or something along those lines. There is a very good chance that will load you down with free stuff. I did it, and several other people here have done it. They have been given the green light to give stuff away to keep you on board. I got the SuperFan free just by telling them I was considering not renewing Sunday Ticket.

If I missed four or five Cowboys games because I didn't spend $200 I'd feel pretty stupid. Not including the trouble to go to a bar, it's going to cost you a minimum of $20 per game on food and drinks.

Couldn't agree more. Plus, the ticket gives you the option of every game, so if the national broadcast game stinks, or the local broadcast, switch to a game worth watching on the ticket.

Missing any Cowboy game is unacceptable to me.

Plus you get the best of the others games...Like me in Cleveland...I would be stuck watching as a example the Browns and Ravens when the Commanders and Eagles are on.

This question gets asked all the time and it just amazes me that people would even think about.

If you can't afford it that's one thing but if money isn't the problem, I don't get it it's a no brainer.

Here's the number along with a link to the other thread...

You have to call the customer retention number.

Hopefully you speak to someone having a good day and just be nice and ask for things and you usually get helped.

Some get more, some less.

My most recent call got me Superfan for free, $10 off a month for a year, free normal HD ($10 value) for 4 months.

$260 value

You have to call the customer retention number.

Since the 90's if there were a season you don't want to see every game of, this is not it. I'm stoked for what the Boyz will accomplish this year. That's why I finally bit the bullet and signed on for DirectTV. I was too cheap to get the superfan package though.
